Arts consultancy and management
In addition to cultural tours, Sharonarts offers a range of support services to arts festivals and professional classical music, theatre and dance companies. This complements the cultural tours offered, by drawing on direct experience and understanding of the European cultural scene. Sharon says:
I’ve set up a conference at Tate Britain and initiated major projects at London’s Barbican and Southbank and in Vienna’s Natural History Museum. I specialise in fundraising, marketing and strategic planning for my arts clients and have also directed several festivals. I feel proud to be associated with some remarkable artists and my priority is to offer them a personalised, committed and efficient service.
Current clients include:
- London Bridge Ensemble, one of Britain’s brightest new chamber music groups (also appearing at the music festival in Ponte de Lima). Sharonarts manages the Ensemble, focusing on fundraising and marketing in addition to securing artistic engagements in the UK and internationally. The Ensemble has performed at the Wigmore Hall, St John’s Smith Square, Sheffield’s Music in the Round, St David’s Cardiff, the City of London Festival and at Leicester’s Music at the Museum. - Fevered Sleep, a theatre company which crosses artforms by creating theatre shows, exhibitions and installations. It also creates performances in unusual, non-theatrical settings. As well as its versatility in creating artistic work in different genres, another of the company’s hallmarks is making work with and for people of all ages, from very young children up. Sharonarts has focused on fundraising and on making international connections for Fevered Sleep.

We have worked with Sharon during most of 2007 on developing our fundraising campaign and also our public relations strategy with international promoters. Her expertise in these areas has been of great benefit as we enter an exciting phase of development into international touring.
