About Sharonarts
Sharon Kivity MA has been running her arts and travel business since 1988. The two complementary strands to Sharonarts - tourism services and consultancy for arts organisations and festivals - enhance and enrich each other.
"When I was a small child, my parents took me to my first ever live concert. I decided then and there that I wanted to work in the arts. I am also passionate about travel and speak several languages, so it seemed a natural thing to focus on both the arts and tourism".
Tourism and travel
I offer a wide range of specially tailored incoming tourism services in Europe, both for travel companies and for individuals looking for an independent specialist with wide ranging knowledge and personal contacts in Europe. I book providers such as accommodation, transport, guides, tickets and entrances and I can devise a custom-made itinerary based on your particular needs. Where appropriate, I personally accompany groups, thus ensuring a continuity of service from inception to delivery. More information.
Arts consultancy and management
I specialise in fundraising, marketing, strategic planning and
project management for the arts sector and have worked with some of
Europe's leading cultural organisations. I have also founded and
directed several festivals. I've set up a conference at Tate Britain
and initiated major projects at London's Barbican and Southbank and
Vienna's Natural History Museum. I feel proud to be associated with
some remarkable artists and my priority and passion is to offer them a
dedicated, personalised service.
